The ForeSight Inc. now offers PowerPC native versions of DataScript¨ for Oracle and Sybase!
The ForeSight Inc. is pleased to announce the release of PowerPC-native versions
of DataScript¨ -- the "DataScript v.3 PPC" product line. Now your client-server
DataScript computing can benefit from the performance of PowerPC.
Upgrading previous versions of DataScript to "DataScript v.3 PPC"
costs U.S. $55 (or ´6,600 using the American Express card) plus shipping and handling. To
order, please fill out the upgrade form and send it to The ForeSight Inc. by fax or mail.
The DataScript v.3 PPC product family consists of the following
modules optimized separately for access to the following database
engines:
- Oracle (Now shipping)
DataScript for Oracle v.3 PPC (compatible with SQL*Net for Mac
v2.1)
New Price: U.S. $249 by check or ´31,000 with the American Express Card
- Sybase (Now shipping)
DataScript for Sybase v.3 PPC (compatible with OpenClient 10)
New Price: U.S. $249 by check or ´31,000 with the American Express Card
- SequeLink (Available soon)
DataScript for SequeLink v.3 PPC (compatible with SequeLink v.3)
New Price: U.S. $249 by check or ´31,000 with the American Express Card
Notes:
- Information on multi-user licenses is also available.
- Each package also includes DataScript v.3 for the 68000 CPU family
as well, so users can select to install DataScript on either Macintosh
or Power Macintosh computers.
- Technical support for DataScript is no longer free. Information on the new technical support pricing structure is available.
